On August 17, 2024, Walailak University, led by Dr. Naparat Chookead, along with students from the School of Informatics and the Center for Academic Services team, visited Wat Wang Tawan Tok to produce a video interview with Phra Khru Phromkhetkanarak, Ph.D., the abbot of Wat Wang Tawan Tok, about the temple’s project (the meditation course). The interview covered the following topics:

1.The objectives of the project

2.The project timeline

3.Participating countries (besides Thailand)

4.Contact information for those interested in joining the project

5.Project monitoring and expansion

This video will be a part of a website developed to serve as a system for public disclosure of the temple’s information, aligning with Good Governance Principle No. 8, which mandates that the temple has a structured system for disclosing both financial and non-financial information. The Temple Transparency Information System Project is a collaboration between the School of Informatics and the Center for Academic Services, aimed at providing the temple with an information system that effectively and efficiently disseminates its information. This initiative integrates teaching and learning across various courses in the Digital Content and Media curriculum, evolving into research on developing a temple transparency information system that is accessible, user-friendly, and meets the needs of the temple committee and other stakeholders. Furthermore, it emphasizes the integration of collaboration across all sectors, particularly NGOs, to sustainably develop educational resources.
