The School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry, Walailak University, organized an exchange program at the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan, from 23 to 30 March 2025. A total of 14 students from the school participated in the program, which aimed to enhance international learning experiences and promote cultural exchange between the two countries.
This exchange program was designed to provide students with first-hand exposure to international education systems and research in agricultural technology and the food industry. It also offered opportunities for students to explore Taiwanese culture, traditions, and way of life.
Throughout the 8-day visit, Walailak University students engaged in a variety of activities, including special lectures delivered by NPUST experts on topics related to agricultural and food technology, visits to modern laboratories and research centers, study visits to farms and food processing plants, and cultural exchange activities with Taiwanese students.
This student exchange initiative is part of the ongoing academic collaboration between Walailak University and NPUST. Both institutions are committed to fostering knowledge exchange and continuously developing the potential of their students and staff.
